You Have About 10 Seconds . . .

(Yes, another post about cat poo, but as I told Brian, we have alot of it in this house. Not as much as Janine does, but alot. :-)

I love my cats; really I do. I don't know what Monty's digestive tract does to food, but that cat can clear a room in about 10 seconds flat. Apparently this morning, he decided that we weren't getting his breakfast fast enough, because he decided to punish us.

We have a cat litter box in our bathroom, because our vet said that we should have litter box on each level of our house. (We aren't thrilled about it, but we don't have anywhere else to put it.) Brian and I were getting ready, when we heard Monty scratching in the litter box. When I glanced over, I saw Brian staring at Monty in the box.

"Why are you staring at him?" I asked in disbelief.
Brian replied, "Because I want to know what he is going to do."
"That's weird!" I said in amazement, but out of curiosity, I looked too.
Then I said to Brian, "You'd better hurry up."

Unfortunately, it was too late. The smell was already drifting our way.

Needless to say, we immediately evacuated the bathroom (laughing :), and the very next thing we did was get Monty his breakfast.

Good thing that we love that boy. Even better, that I don't have to scoop the litter box anymore.

Parm poops like Monty. He can clear the house without even trying. And he refuses to cover it.

Oh, yes. The not covering it seems to be key to the process. Monty scratches the wall, the dryer, and yet he complains when he finds uncovered poo in his box. He and Parm must be soulmates. Or maybe it is a big cat thing.
