Being home alone all day gives my mind lots of time to wander. Because I am usually holding a baby, my activities are limited. (In fact, I am typing this with one hand. I am pretty good at it by now.) So I spend most of the day watching the Food Network 'cause Netflix can't send new movies fast enough and because all of the other channels show potentially scary stuff like killer illnesses and/or baby kidnappings.
Over the Thanksgiving break, Brian and I came up with a Food Network drinking game. Don't worry. We aren't drinking alcohol . . . YET.
Take a drink any time when:
* the chef uses garlic, onion, or extra virgin olive oil
* Paula Deen uses a stick of butter
* Giada DeLaurentis says marscapone cheese
* Rachel Ray makes up a new word, e.g. Yum-o, sammies, stoup
* Emeril says BAM!
After one episode of Rachel or Emeril, you won't be feeling any pain. ;-)

Anytime Rachel Ray says EVOO. That drives me crazy!
I'd say take a drink every time Rachel Ray uses "EVOO" and immediately explains that it stands for "Extra Virgin Olive Oil". I mean if you're going to use the full phrase every time, there's no need for the abbreviation.
