A man is flipping a light switch on and off. He asks a women in another room (presumably his wife/girlfriend/significant other) if anything happens when he flips the switch. The woman basically pats him on the head and brushes him off. Frustrated, the man keeps flipping the switch.
Then you see the neighbors' house, where the garage door is going up, down, up, down on the neighbor's car. So you interfere from the commercial that the light switch is making the neighbor's garage door go up and down.
Well, that happened to us on Sunday night. Brian came home from visiting a friend, and the next thing we heard was the garage door go up, down, up, down. To fix the problem, Brian had to unplug the garage door opener.
We can't explain why the door was acting possessed though. Maybe a neighbor found a hidden light switch or someone kept saying "Open Sesame, Close Sesame." Or maybe it is just time to replace the garage door opener.

Yes I know the commercial you're talking about! I would be freaked out if that happened to me. Ghosts? Practical joke? Or perhaps a new door opener is needed :-)
On a side note, my tv likes to turn itself on every now and then.
Apparently, the behavior occured again after i left for work this morning. We had a new garage door opener installed by 11:30. Of course that means, I can't get into the house, but small price to pay.
