Whew! What a blizzard! I'm so glad that my deck and trash can survived that coating of ice.
I hate watching the news in the winter and during hurricane season (which basically means that I only watch the weather during April and May). During the winter months, you can see the meteorologists and news anchors salivating over the slightest chance of winter weather. The chance of bad weather could be .0001% and they would still act as if the world is coming to an end.
I think Winnie the Pooh should become a weatherman. Walking around with an umbrella and saying "Tut, tut, looks like rain" would probably make him right about half the time.
