It must be the time for my neighbors to do their spring cleaning. Yesterday was trash day, and I swear I have never seen so much trash. At almost every house, the can was overflowing. (And I know that only 2 people live in some of these houses.) I can't imagine how people generate so much trash!
I think it is ironic (and sad) that we spring clean our houses by filling up the landfills.

I agree with the comment on filling landfills. When I do my cleaning, I box everything up for the Salvation Army, or some other donation service. That way I feel good not trashing things unless they are total junk, and most of my trash is still in good shape. If they decide to send it to the landfill, well that's on their shoulders and not mine. At least I feel better trying to do my part to help the less fortunate.
