Yesterday, Brian and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary (which is apparently celebrated by giving bronze, pottery, or linens). In some ways, it is hard to believe that it has been 8 years already. In other ways, it seems like we've been together forever. ;-)
I have to confess that I was pretty naive when we got married. I thought surely we wouldn't have any tough or bad times. We knew each other and everything would be smooth sailing.
Well the last year has been rough, but we made it through. And now we know a little more about ourselves and each other. The fun part is that we can still make each other laugh and the scary part is that we often are thinking the same thing at the same time. Of course, that's fun too when you are in a group -- having your own private joke.
I love you, B. Here's to 108 more years! And I can't wait for our Wii tennis match. :-)

Happy anniversary! Time really is flying by! I think you will kick his butt in Wii tennis :-) You guys need to come over again and play!

Wii Tennis is fun. I only recently managed to beat Cary's score in one of the Wii bowling challenges. She's a bowling master!
Here's to 108 more years, indeed. What material are you supposed to give on your 108th anniversary? Maybe Ensure? :D
