Did You See That?
Just when I think I've seen everything . . . last night we were coming home from Brian's folks. I was driving and I pulled up behind this motorcycle. A motorcycle with a human and a dog for passengers. The dog was in a little bucket seat. Strapped in, of course. But he barked at every other car that we passed. I was terrified that he was going to leap out of the bucket. I really just couldn't believe it. I was trying to envision Reyna and Duncan in one of those things. (This wasn't a tiny dog, but small compared to two German Shepherds.) Of course, I was having a difficult time imagining Janine driving a motorcycle.

I think Duncan would be cute in a sidecar, wearing a pair of doggles. And maybe a scarf. There's not enough rope in the world to keep Reyna in something like that when cars are passing by, though. But yeah, I don't see me driving a motorcycle, either. Probably something to do all those folks I've helped scrape up off the road...
Several years ago, I was leaving the Raleigh Grande theater after watching a movie. I was stopped at a stoplight, and right beside my car was a guy on a motorcycle with a small Jack Russel terrier in a milk crate behind his seat. The dog was wearing a small leather helmet with goggles.
