In this day and age, when time is short and my energy is so low, it is easy to take people for granted. So I thought I would publicly recognize my boy.
This morning, we drove separately to work. For a while, our cars were neck and neck. Then suddenly he disappeared (which of course greatly disappointed my back seat driver). I thought maybe he got stuck at a traffic light or something. I saw him pulling onto campus as I was pulling out of day care. I didn't think much about it. He was at work; everything was okay. I could go on with my day.
I park my car and the next thing I see is Brian pulling up next to me. We don't work in the same building so why was he parking over here. I was totally confused. Brian gets out of the car with two bulbs in his hand and says "Your headlight is out." I just about melted. He had made a detour to the car parts store, just so I didn't have to drive with one headlight on a cloudy, rainy day. So sweet. :-)

What you got there is a good man.
Way to go, Brian!
