So obviously, we did a lot of driving this weekend. Over 600 miles of driving, in fact. So my mind had lots of time to wonder. I started thinking about Natalie's blog about "most dangerous assassins".
After reading Sam's response, I started to wonder if there is a ranking system for spies. You know like 007. Is he 007 because he is the 7th best spy in Britain? If that's true, I don't think that I want to meet 001. Or is it because it is just catchier than 0035?
And why don't they retire the number after a Bond dies? I mean, are we really supposed to believe that is it the same Bond after all these years?
And what does M stand for? Brian figured out after re-watching "Die Another Day" that Q stands for Quartermaster. But what does M mean?
Sam, I'm looking at you here, and hoping that you have some answers.
