Now, I will confess that I am a worrier. It's just in my nature. I always find something to worry about. But I think even Brian will agree that this year I haven't had to look too hard.
This weekend, I found something else to worry about. On Sunday, we noticed that Monty was bleeding from one of his paws. At the time, we didn't think too much about it. I mean, cats fight, and we thought maybe he injured his paw in a scuffle with Zoey. But his paw bled again the next day, so we decided to take him to the vet to make sure it wasn't infected.
It turns out that he has a little tumor in his paw, and tomorrow he goes in to have it surgically removed. The really worrisome part (besides him having to be put under for the procedure) is that they have to send the tumor to a lab to determine if it is cancerous. And of course, we won't find that out until next week. I hope he's okay. I don't think I could take losing him right now. :-(

Poor guy! Hopefully its nothing serious. Now he gets to be extra lazy and stay off his paw! Who knew that was possible.
