that pregnancy is considered an STD? Yep, that was on one of the PowerPoint slides in a recent presentation from our Benefits department. Now granted in this case, STD stands for short-term disability, but I still can't get over the acronym. I guess it is the 12 year old in me that finds it funny.
So I assume everyone has heard through the rumor mill by now that Brian and I are parents. I know for most of you (especially those who don't see me very often) that this is quite a shock, because I never mentioned it. I'm sorry if you felt deceived in any way. Brian and I have wanted this for a long time and the journey was more than a little bumpy. So I never felt comfortable making a formal announcement. Heck, we had family members who didn't find out until the day she was born!
I am not going to post too much on my blog for fear of who might read this, but Brian and I really appreciate all of your support and the good wishes. We hope to see everyone and catch up very soon.

According to "The Onion" she was a uterine parasite....
Congrats to both of you...and Cary actually called it.
After the cookout earlier in the summer, she asked me if you were pregnant. I guess she can detect uterine parasites.
You should have seen me trying to find something to wear to your wedding. I couldn't wait to get out of that outfit. :-)
