Every year, I am excited about one surprise gift that I am going to give someone. This year, I had a couple of gifts -- a couple for Brian (which he loved. Whew!) and a package for all the grandparents. The package contained a DVD of all the pictures that we had taken of the baby and a special photo album that Brian and I had created for all the grandparents. We thought for sure the photo album would be a big hit, especially since we worked so hard on it.
Well, two grandparents barely looked at the album and said it was nice. The third grandparent never even took it out of the plastic. Instead, she raved about the pictures of the baby that her husband framed for her.
Sigh . . . how disappointing. I give up. :-(

Wow that is horrible! You would think grandparents would be really happy with something like that. Sounds like you guys put a lot of work into it also. I'm sorry they reacted so crummy. I would be upset too! Some people you just can't please.
I'm glad Brian liked his presents! That's what really matters, right? ;-)
Yeah, really B is the one who counts, but he knows better. ;-)
I'm sorry.....family really sucks sometimes. Thats why you get to pick your friends.
