Sam's geek comment to the Alien post reminded me of something that I've been wanting to post for a couple of months.
In the mail, I received an advertisement to buy Niels Bohr's Collected Words. A 13-volume limited edition collector's set. 8504 pages total and only 300 sets worldwide. All for the low, low price of $1895.00!!!
Glup. What a decision. Pay the bills or buy these books. Huh.
Of course, maybe the geekiest part is that part of me really wants to at least look through these books. I always loved learning about Bohr, and I'd be interested in reading some of his scientific papers, manuscripts, and personal correspondence. That's what university libraries are for. :-)
