I Want to Thank You

I'm sure by now that everyone knows that I am card crazy. I feel partly responsible for the collapse of the economy since I have been to Hallmark in months.

But even I feel a little weird getting a thank you card from my mom. This past weekend I took my mom and my brother to the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit and bought them lunch. As my mom always does, she sent us a thank you card for the visit and for the lunch.

It's so unnatural to get a thank you card from your mom. Does this mean I need to send her a thank you card on my birthday? Oh hey, by the way, thanks for giving birth to me.

I guess it just goes to show how the relationship is between me and my mom. :-)

At least for me it would be more like "Thanks for making me crazy, mom!".

Wow. A thank you card for a birthday card. Oh that's going in the memory banks. ;-)

Ha! I think my family thinks I'm nuts because I send thank you cards for things too. But it's usually stuff like baby shower or wedding gifts...not lunch and a visit! ;)
