Holiday Greetings

Every year, I send out between 50-60 holiday cards. That includes all of our families, friends, and co-workers.

Well this year, I haven't had the time or the energy. Heck, we don't have one Christmas decoration up inside our house. We do finally have the Santa flag flying and a Christmas tree twirly thing on the front porch.

Of course, we are getting a few cards from family and it is making me wonder if I really need to distribute cards anymore. The most communication that I have with some people is once a year, and with family cards, the only thing we usually get is a signature. No real news. Besides now that I am trying to be more green, I feel guilty about sending so many cards. I wonder if greeting cards will become a thing of the past. I still think that the Post Office is on its last legs. It is just a matter of time.

But I digress. My point was that I am thinking of all of you and wishing you a very Happy Holiday season, but don't be surprised if you don't get an official card this year. ;-)

Don't worry about a card for us! We'll just be happy if we get a chance to visit!

You don't have to worry about a card for me. It must be one of those years... I haven't send out any cards either! At least we finally got the tree up. I'm looking forward to seeing you over winter break!

Well, we have something in common. Cary and I didn't manage to send Christmas cards this year, either. :(

Just think of it as saving a tree. :-)
