I haven't posted about my mentoring in a while. And I probably shouldn't now. But I have to share this.
This morning, she sent an email to my entire department asking what our favorite color is. I responded mainly out of curiosity. "Why did she want to know our favorite color?"
Here is a synopsis of her response:
"I am going to try to make some pencil holders or coffee cups for everyone. I just wanted to know what color to visualize with the person I’m throwing for when I make the piece. I think it will help the energy be really solid and personal as it forms."
Wow. I don't even make cookies for my group anymore.
