Okay, I understand wanting to have backup plans for a holiday weekend, but you don't tell a person that she is your backup. Especially, when she is your backup backup.
So here's in general terms, here's what's going on:
If my mom can't get to Asheville this weekend and if my step-father can't come here to visit here this weekend, then my mom would like to stay with us for the weekend.
Ouch!!! That stings a little. In the past, I would have been really upset about this. Now, I kind of understand, but the pain in my neck and shoulders say that it must be bothering me a little. (Or the pain is from work. That's a possibility too.)
