Oh, how I LOVE the ACC, especially this season where anything can happen. We may not have football, but we can dominate the nation in basketball.
Yesterday's opening round of the ACC tourney proved to be one of the best ever -- truly the day of the underdog.
* FSU beat Clemson
* Miami amazingly defeated Maryland. I really thought Maryland would go all the way.
* State beat Duke -- Woo Hoo!!! Sidney has to be pleased. Beating both UNC and Duke in the same season. I can't remember Duke not playing in the championship game. I think they have been there for the past 8 years! It is going to be nice to see someone else have a chance for a change.
* Wake beat Ga Tech in what has to be one of the highest scoring games ever in the tourney. I wish I had DVR'ed that game. Wow!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed as State and Wake play tonight, but they must be exhausted after yesterday's efforts.
